Tatiana was a young mother in rural El Salvador who was killed by gang members in 2014. Though there's never a good reason for such atrocities, I found out what probably motivated the killers. This multimedia piece accompanies an article I wrote about Tatiana. The photos are part of a bigger series about El Salvador which won first place at the Dutch 2015 'Zilveren Camera' awards in the category 'International Documentary Photography'.
